Approaching storm


This is an 8 by 10 oil painting done on canvas board. I painted this from the confort of my living room as the storm was approaching. The willow trees were blowing in the wind and shortly the rain came pelting down.

I visited a friends house who had a marvelous collection of Oriental Statues. I just had to draw some on them.

Milkweed


What is more fun than to walk the fields or fence rows and find a milkweed giving up its fluffy seeds. The air becomes filled with little flying balls of 'snow'
