Wooden Statue

I visited a friends house who had a marvelous collection of Oriental Statues. I just had to draw some on them.

This is a wooden statue only about 5 inches tall. Drawn in a sketchbook with graphite pencile.

Milkweed

What is more fun than to walk the fields or fence rows and find a milkweed giving up its fluffy seeds. The air becomes filled with little flying balls of 'snow'
